We are the only Dual Language Immersion school in Alpine School District to receive a S.T.E.M. Designation. What is S.T.E.M? It stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We focus uniquely on incorporating the design methodologies into our daily instruction with students to prepare them for their future.

Why Portuguese Dual Immersion?

With over 220 million speakers in 35 countries Portuguese is the seventh most widely spoken language in the world. Portuguese is a good springboard to learning other Romance languages.
Students who speak Portuguese can generally understand and learn Spanish with little difficulty. Similarly, Spanish-speaking students thrive in Portuguese immersion classrooms.
